Application Form

If you are seeking an ideal place to complete your internship, look no further! We provide a welcoming and supportive environment for interns to grow and develop their skills. Our internship program offers two intake periods each year: January and July.

This structure allows for a comprehensive experience where you can engage in meaningful work and gain valuable insights into your field. Friendship Centre is passionate about new counsellors and how to be part of their journey as they complete their studies.

Can I apply directly for placement?

Yes, you absolutely can. There is a link below for you to complete an expression of interest and you will be contacted prior to next scheduled intake.

How many intakes are there per year?

We have 2 intakes throughout the year, January and July.

Can I defer my placement if something comes up?

Absolutely, communication is key so if you let us know we can make that happen.

Is there a time limit on how long I can take to do my placement?

No, that will be between you and your tertiary institute.

What is the process for placement?

Once we receive your expression of interest completed form, you will be contacted with

If you feel FC is a good fit for you then you will progress to next round

Remote interview with our Assistant Director - Efi Krimisiz

After a collaborative discussion you will be contacted to be notified if you have been successful.

You will then receive an email with your STARTER KIT and off you go!

How many placement spots are there?

We are wanting quality students rather than quanity of students but we aim to have at least 20 placements for each intake.
