A healing place for everyone
"Every volunteer hour at the Friendship Centre is a step toward healing, hope, and professional growth โ for both the client and the counsellor."
Who we are
The Friendship Centre offers free, professional counselling for individuals, couples, families, and children. We provide support for addictions and relapse prevention, anger management, domestic and family violence, grief, trauma, and life challenges. Our counsellors create a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space to help you work through challenges, rebuild relationships, and strengthen your wellbeing.
Our counsellors
The counsellors at the Friendship Centre are dedicated professionals who generously donate their time, expertise, and technology resources to provide free counselling support to individuals, families, and children. Most counsellors are self-funded and usually balance this work alongside other employment, driven by a commitment to giving back to the community.
